State Farm® Insurance Agent Shane Armbrister

"(Update, Circle K has multiple claims against them for water in the fuel sold in Houston. I get my fuel from Circle K at Pinlock and El Dorado. Other insurance companies are covering the damage, see the Click 2 Houston news story on the contamination. State Farm denied my claim.) Do not use State Farm for any insurance needs and especially do not go to this agent. I had a two-year-old truck with twenty-five thousand miles on it insured through this agency.
I somehow got a load of bad fuel contaminated with water and diesel bug. The contaminated fuel damaged my fuel system. State Farm denied the claim for wear and tear. Yes, a vehicle two years old and with only twenty-five thousand miles was denied for wear and tear. The proximate cause of the damage was the sudden and accidental introduction of contaminated fuel, not wear and tear.
The sad thing is this Agency sided with the Auto Property Damage Adjuster who made the coverage decision. I know how far this company has fallen as I was an Adjuster for State Farm my first eight years out of college in the 90s. I started as an Auto Property Damage Adjuster and I would have, and did, pay similar claims every day of the week and three times on Sunday. I would have then subrogated the gas station I bought the fuel from. They did not even ask me where I had bought my fuel.
It makes me sad that a once great company turned into what it is now! I mean look at the photo of the dark blue 2023 pickup, obviously the truck has extreme wear and tear. Not! Seventeen Thousand dollars to repair the fuel contamination damage, including car rental, that State Farm denied.
The second photo is of my 2015 pickup with the same 6.7 Power stroke engine which had 200k miles on it and never had a fuel system contamination problem. I sold it 18 months ago. (Note the lack of maintenance of the 2015 truck also, State Farm is a Joke!) Both trucks were maintained the same way. If anything, the 2023 was better maintained. Very sad for State Farm."
